Since 2015 the Active Hearts Foundation has been facilitating community projects for Nepalese children prioritising health and education. They also provide humanitarian aid and assistance to orphanages and homeless shelters for those with mental and physical disabilities.

When you join the GANESH HIMAL CHARITY TREK you become part of the Active Hearts Foundation's mission to create positive education and health opportunities for the children of the Himalaya.
Your trek will be fundraising to support an Active Hearts Foundation charity initiative.
While in Nepal you will visit the projects and see first hand how your efforts are actively supporting children less fortunate. We encourage our Ganesh Himal Charity Trek guests to have a fundraising goal of $500 USD. Many find this is very achievable and raise much more!!

You could get creative and host an event to help rasise awareness and fundraiser! Past guests have created walkathons, hosted themed dinners, yoga classes, sold handmade cards and knitted items, created raffles and even held dance events. Options and fundraising goals are only limited by your imagination and efforts!
