Dan is the founder and CEO of Heartspace Expeditions and the Active Hearts Foundation charity. He is a global guide, leading expeditions in Nepal, Bhutan, Tanzania, Australia, and New Zealand since 2005. His passions include culture, community, and the environment. When not exploring the world Dan enjoys surfing, permaculture and tiny home living on the south coast of New Zealand.

Arjun, residing in Kathmandu with his wife and two daughters and son, is not only a professorial Himalayan trekking guide with extensive experience but also a co-founder of the Active Hearts Foundation, a village leader, and a community consultant.
